Psychology of Criminal Profiling Diploma

A fascinating addition to the range of courses in this increasingly popular area which already included Criminal Psychology, Forensic Psychology, Criminal Psychology, forensic Science and Criminology.

This course seeks an understanding of the criminal mind through the examination of real-life cases. Psychological profiling has increased in importance in recent years with the belief that a picture of the criminal can be built up from clues left at crime scenes and methods used to commit crimes. The discipline is a mix of common sense, observation and knowledge as well as an understanding of the human psyche and an ability to think logically and link things together.

The first module introduces the subject and gives the student insight into the principles and methods used for practical application in the following modules, which are all case-based.
