Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) distance learning course
This is a professional course appropriate to new students in the field or to existing therapists/ coaches who want to acquire CBT skills as part of their professional armoury.
CBT is a talking therapy that uses how the subject thinks and feels about events in their life to explore their behaviours and attitudes in subsequent situations and relationships. A CBT therapist will try to help their subjects recognise and comprehend thought patterns and significant influences to help them understand their behaviour and reactions and alter them in more acceptable or desirable forms.

What are my options after the course?
Get a job as a CBT counsellor. Successful completion of the course will qualify you to work as a counsellor advising and helping individuals, couples, families or even groups of people. Counselling could also be undertaken on the phone or even over the internet, in addition to in-person.
Build your career. To further advance your career in CBT, you have the option to continue training, become a psychotherapist and work for an agency or set up as a teacher or mentor. You could also go into private practice in the sector. Psychotherapists have earnings potential of up to £100,000*pa.
